Hello Families, We enjoyed another wonderful week of learning Grade 1.  Community This week we focused on kindness and community. We became "Kindness Catchers." Everly was initially selected for demonstrating strong leadership characteristics and for sharing her ideas around "The 7 Sacred Teachings" in the large group. Everly then caught Grayson being kind when she watched him help his peers and clean up without being asked. Grayson then caught Kayden who was being a kind friend while playing a math game. We can't wait to see who we catch spreading kindness next week! Art This week our watercolour portfolios included:  -M is for Monkey -N is for Newt -O is for Octopus -P is for Panda -Q is for Quail We also read a story called, "A Colour of His Own." It is called Lalilo. Login information was sent home this week. -Another useful literacy APP is Raz-Kids.
