Learning Goal:  I can identify what communities need and might want

We had a busy short week!  Lucky for us Adam's mom came in and did a presentation about communities.  This extended our knowledges about what goes into a community when planning it out, including things like types of housing, community services, business, transportation and utilities.  Students did an activity where they all drew a picture of the sections talked about and then came together in cmall groups to put all of thse sctions on chart paper.  This helped represent a mini community that they created.  Students learned so much during this presentation and I'm sure they can share lots with you.
